Biography

John, son of Roderick Craig and Rebecca F, was born either on 28 Mar 1781 or 15 Jun 1782 at Randolph County, NC. He died on 15 Nov 1835 at Henry County, IN.

He married Rebecca JACKSON (b. 1783 which doesn't match with 1830 census) on 8 Aug 1813; children (surname CRAIG):

  • The 1830 census of Henry County, IN, listed John Craig with 1 male under 5, 2 males 5-9, 2 males 10-14, 2 males 15-19, 1 male 40-49 (himself), 1 female under 5, 2 females 15-19, and 1 one female 30-39 (wife) right after his brother Roderick.[1]
