Fern Lillian Craig, daughter of Leonard and Edna (Frey) Craig, was born on 7 April 1916 at Lyons, Burt County, Nebraska, USA.[1] She lived with John Frey in 1928 at Pender, Nebraska.[2] She was living with her mother when she appeared on the census of 8 April 1930 in the household of Herbert Suhr at Thayer, Thurston Co., Nebraska.[3]
She married Ernest Perry Shawver, son of George Christian Shawver and Tamsey Omiska Perry, on 22 June 1933 at either Dakota City,[4], or South Sioux City,[1] Dakota County, Nebraska.
She and Ernest appeared on the census of 7 April 1940 in the household of her mother-in-law, Tamsey Omiska (Perry) Shawver, at Logan Township, Burt County, Nebraska.[5]
Fern died on 3 Feb. 2012 at Kindred Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho, at age 95[1] and was buried at Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, Latah County, Idaho. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Ernest.[6]
