James Humbert Craig was an Irish landscape painter.
He was born Belfast 1877.
His parents were Alexander Craig & Marie Metzenen.
He studied at Belfast College of Art.
Aged 23 in 1901, he was a mercantile clerk in Bangor, County Down.
He married Annie Lilburn.
They resided at Tornamona Cottage, Castle Park, Cushendun, County
James died Tornamona Cottage 12 June 1944, aged 66, from perforated ulcers.
He was buried in Layde Parish Church, Cushendall, County Antrim.
James Stanley Prosser, was a fellow artist.
