Biography
Dr. Daniel Turner, in his Craig book, said Eveard spent some time overseas in World War I. After his return from the war, he spent several years farming on the homestead in Windsor. He and his brother Spurgeon worked the farm and also cared for their aged father after the death of their mother. After his marriage to Alice Dickinson in 1946, he and Alice operated a grocery store for 25 years in Somerville. He did carpentry work in the area until failing health forced him to give this up.
