Sarah Macadam Craig, daughter of George Craig and Isabella Begg was born at Glasgow in 1860. 
She was living at 5 Stanhope Street, Barony with her father George, a printer compositor aged 62, mother Isabella aged 56, and siblings Hugh, aged 23, Agnes, 18 and Charles 15. She was working in an underclothes warehouse. 
Sarah died aged 93 on 18 August 1953 at Los Angeles, California.
