Biography

James Craig is a part of US Black heritage.

James Craig was born about 1850[1][2] in Kentucky[1][2]. He was the child[1][2] of Albert Craig and Caroline Fowler, and the brother[1] of Civil War veteran Robert Cragg of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.

Education

In 1860, he is attending school, probably in or near Granville, Ohio.[2]

  • 1850: Kenton County, Kentucky with his parents, siblings, and (presumed) grandparents Jenney and Jesse Fowler[1]
