"The former Esther June Crandall was born June 3, 1917, in New Rockford, N.D., the daughter of Emmett and Anna Olson Crandall. She married Kenneth Klendworth on March 25, 1936, in Hillsdale. He died on Dec. 30, 2002."
"She had been employed at the Carson Pirie Scott store, Moline. She and her husband had operated the former Platium Bowling Alley, Moline, for several years and then started and operated the Pink Pony Drive-in, Erie, for many years. She was a member of the Erie Christian Church, the Westside Christian Church, Bradenton and the Red Hat Society in Florida. She enjoyed doing crafts."
