Wayne,

You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members.

WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to make your way around more easily.

New Member Pages

Next week you'll hear from a Member who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.

I hope you love the features here as much as I do!

Emma ~~ Wiki Greeter

P.S. Some people have trouble accessing the new member link from their email. If this happens, you can click on it from your profile page.

Hi Wayne... reading over our messages, I wanted to let you know that I have a copy of the book Elder John Crandall of Rhode Island and his Descendants. Is there anything I can help with? We should get your tree up and running! When I first started I found that I accidentally duplicated a profile here on WikiTree. I am happy to help get you started and linked to your Crandall ancestors. Please let me know - have a great day, Cousin. Jack

How do you descend from Peter Crandall?
posted by Jack Sheldon Jr.
From Peter Crandall, I descend from his son Constant m. Hannah Brewster, and then from two of their children. Both Hannah Crandall and Abel Crandall... down to my ggg-grandfather Kidder Crandall, one line on his father's side, and the other line on his mother's side. So, from Elder John Crandall (and William Brewster of the Mayflower), the descent is twice to Kidder. Then, two of Kidder's daughters, Emelia and Adaline are my gg-grandmothers, since their children - who were first cousins - married (my gg-grandparents Sheldon). Thus, I am a 4 X descendant of Elder John Crandall...

Hello Wayne,

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

We're really glad you're here!

Gilly - Greeeter
