Biography

Annie Rebecca Crane was born on 29th November 1874 at Castle Hill, New South Wales, Australia. She was the eldest (legitimate) child of William Crane and Rosina Worthing.[1]

Annie married Johann "John" Branz, eldest son of Prussian emigrants and Castle Hill market gardeners, Lorenz and Elizabeth Branz, in 1912 at Parramatta.[2] Annie and John had two children:

Annie and John retired to Point Clare, on New South Wales' beautiful Central Coast. John passed away there in 1951. Annie passed away, aged 81 years, on 1st September 1956 at Marrickville, New South Wales, while staying with her daughter and family, and is buried in the Methodist section of Point Clare Cemetery.[3]
