William Crane was a Virginia colonist.

Will Book E 1772 - 1798: CRANE, WILLIAM, Spotsylvania Co., d. July 8, 1777, Executors Bond dated May 21, 1778. Wit. Robert Durret; John Carter; Henry Goodloe. Ex. Henry Bartlett, William Wood. Leg. wife Sarah; daughter Elizabeth Turner; money arising from the sale of land devised to me by will of my late father, Col. John Crane, decd., to my wife and child. (Page 208)[1]
