Biography

Jonathan was 26 years, son of Mayor Stephen Crane of Elizabethtown, when he went off to fight in the American Revolution. His brother William was a Major in the New Jersey Brigade, had been badly wounded in the assault on Quebec in 1775. [1]

Jonathan was killed June 1780 by Hessian Soldiers.
