She and her family were living in Islington at the time of the 1901 census. [5]
She grew up in Eastbourne [4] where she married Horace Dowding on the 28th September 1920. [6]
She was living in Wembley with two of the three children at the time of the 1939 England Register. Her husband Horace appears to be absent from the register. [3]
The family initially moved back to Eastbourne not long after Liz's birth. After Horace passed away, Alice began to frequently move between Eastbourne and Cumbria. She married Fred Shaul sometime after Horace passed away, but currently no marriage record has been found. [7]
After Fred passed away, she married Harry Pitcher during the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1971 in Eastbourne. [8]
She passed away on the 20th December 1985 in Carlisle, having suffered dementia. She was 86 years old. [2][7]
