Henry Crane migrated from Cambridgeshire to South Australia.
Henry Crane was the son of Mary Crane, born c1835 in Elm, Cambrigeshire, England.
In 1841 he is living with his grandfather John Crane, mother (now married) Mary Hutcheson and her husband Thomas with other family members in Elm, Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire [1]
In 1851 Henry age 16 lives in Elm with his mother Mary and siblings John, Rueben and Thomas (Hutcheson). [2]
Henry emigrated to South Australia on the Utopia, arriving at Port Adelaide on 9 Jul 1858. [3]
He married Esther Carter 6 June 1861 at St Michael Church, Mitcham, South Australia. Witnesses were Emma Carter and James Carter. [4][5]
Henry passed away age 80 on 18 March 1915 in Fullarton Estate, South Australia [6] and was buried in St Saviour's Cemetery, Glen Osmond. [7][8]
CRANE. On the 18th March, at Fullarton Estate, Henry H., the dearly loved husband of Esther Crane, aged 80 years.[9]
