I was born at Crown Street Women's Hospital in 1950. I was the second daughter born to Ernest Cranley and Vera Irvine.
I was educated at Hurstville Primary School, and later at St.George Girls High School, Kogarah.
I left school in 1965. My parents were of the opinion that a girl didn't need on-going education, as she would end up married, with a family.
I joined the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Ltd. and spent the first four years at Hurstville Branch. After that I spent a few years at Sydney University Branch, before finishing up at Granville branch in 1973.
I am married to a Vietnam Veteran, and we are the parents of two sons. We have five beautiful grandchildren.
I took an interest in family history after the death of my father-in law in 1999. Although he was an only child, I began to wonder about all of his Aunties, Uncles and Cousins.
I have been captivated on Family History, ever since. I have been contacted by some of the relatives, who come to add more information, or simply to find out more. I have also been supported by some lovely people on Wiki Tree.

I have also adopted several files that I am no relation to. They include

Many thanks for your email on the Britton Family. I am not related to the Britton Family in any way. I may have added some information to this family, as I look for pages up for adoption and try to add to them. There are still pages for the Britton Family that you are related to that are up for adoption. Take a look. I am happy to transfer any Britton files that may have my name on, over to you, if you wish.
