Biography

Maria was born on 3 July 1823 in Hemel Hempstead, Herts, England. She was the daughter of Joseph Cranstone and Maria (Lefevre) Cranstone.[1][2] Maria baptised in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire, England.[3]

When Maria was 21 she married in April 1845 in Luton, Bedfordshire.[4]

In the 1851 census Maria (age 27) was living in Manchester, Lancashire, England. Relationship: Wife.[2]

In the 1871 census Maria (age about 47) was living in Cheetham, Lancashire, England. Relation to Head: Wife.[5][6]

Maria died at the age of 59 on 14 January 1883 in Wharfedale, Yorkshire West Riding.[7]

Maria was buried on 17 January 1883.[8]
