Luciano Crapisi is born 28 November 1857 in his parents' home on via Borgognoni in Corleone and is baptized the next day, named after his maternal grandfather. He is the son of Pietro Crapisi and Antonia Birtone.[1] His godparents are Giovanni Riina and Biagia Ligotino, a married couple.[2]

Luciano marries Liboria di Palermo, daughter of Giovanni di Palermo and Angela Lisotta, on 12 September 1880. His mother has died by this time.[3]

Luciano and his wife, Liboria di Palermo, had five children.
