Biography
Alma Neona Craven was born on Wednesday, September 13, 1922 at Shippen, Cameron County, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Merrill Anson (Friday, February 12, 1892 - Monday, June 2, 1947) and Edna Whitmire Craven (Monday, June 30, 1890 - Friday, November 17, 1922). Her parents were married on Thursday, September 2, 1909, in Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of their three children. At the time of her birth her father was a dipper for a dynamite works.
Alma married Daniel Davis (Thursday, May 5, 1921 - Saturday, May 19, 2001) at Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida on Tuesday, August 31, 1943. They had one son, Jeffrey Gillett Davis (Tuesday, June 14, 1949 in Austin, Travis County, Texas - Monday, August 8, 1994 in Brazos, Palo Pinta, Texas). They were married for twenty-two years.
On Thursday, January 19, 1967, Alma passed away in Le Roy, Genessee County, New York. She is interred at Machpelah Cemetery in LeRoy, Genessee County, New York.
