Biography
Martha Ann Craven was born about 1811 in Clerkenwell, London, England.
Martha Ann Craven married Richard Ravenhill on 12 Jul 1830 at St Sepulchre in London.[1]
Richard and Martha had at least nine children: William Ravenhill (c1832-), Martha Ravenhill (c1836-), Elizabeth (Ravenhill) Miles (1838-), Eliza Ravenhill (1840-), Mary Ann Ravenhill (1842-), Thomas Ravenhill (1846-), Hiram Ravenhill (1849-), Selina??? Ravenhill (1853-), and John Charles Ravenhill (1855-1941).
In 1851 Martha Ravenhill (age 40) lived at Old Bethnal Green Road in Bethnal Green with her husband Richard (42, chair maker) and seven children: William (19, chair maker), Martha (15, chair maker), Elizabeth (13, scholar), Eliza (11, scholar), Mary Ann (9, scholar), Thomas (5, scholar), and Iram (2).[2]
In 1861 Martha Ravenhill (age 51) lived at Warner Place South in Bethnal Green with her husband 'Robert' (52, chair maker) and five children: Maryann (20), Thomas (14), Hyrum (12), C (8), and John (6).[3]
Martha A Ravenhill passed away in 1866 in Bethnal Green, aged 55 years.[4] Her husband Richard Ravenhill also passed away in 1866, within the same quarter at least (possibly at the same time?).[5]
