Research Notes

We know that his wife was named Frances from his will but we haven't had a last name. Now someone is saying her maiden name was Hewitt, without a source except for the Mary Craven Purvis book... but she is not named in that book.

The Catherine "Caty" who is attached to his Find A Grave memorial is not his daughter Caty, but his brother John's daughter, also named Catherine "Caty".

Edit: I am now looking at the Mary Craven Purvis book and there is no last name given for Thomas's wife, just Frances ______. We can't use that source for anyone named Alice Frances Hewitt. If there is another source, please provide it.
