Harry Bradford Crawford was born on 4 May 1925 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio.[1] His parents were Arthur Willis Crawford (1887–1926) and Constance May Ritzenthaler Crawford Duffet (1893–1987).[2]
He served in the United States Navy during World War II and served on the USS Zenobia.[1]
Harry married Marjorie Jean McChesney (1928-1994) and they were the parents of nine children.[1]
He passed away in Wakeman, Huron County, Ohio on February 26, 2010.[1]

Harry's third great-grandfather, John Riddell (1763-1839), (NSSAR Ancestor #: P278961), served in American Revolution.[3][4]
Harry's 4th great-grandfather, Samuel Crawford (1748-1824), (NSSAR Ancestor #: P140882), also served in the American Revolution.[5] He was in the 9th Company of Colonel Waterbury's 5th Regiment of Connecticut.[6]
