Maggie (Crawford) Kane was born in Queensland, Australia

Margaret Ellen (Crawford) Kane was born in 1914. ^[1] She married George Kane in 1947. ^[2]

Wedding

KANE - CRAWFORD: At St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, on 4th February, by the Rev. Stewart Lang. Margaret Ellen, third daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Crawford, Oakview, Bajool, to George, sixth Son of Mrs M. Kane and the late Mr N. Kane, Walterhall, Mt Morgan. ^[3]

Kane - Crawford A wedding of interest to many friends in the Central District was celebrated at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. on Feb. 4 when Margaret Ellen, third daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Crawford, Oakview, Bajool, was married to George, sixth son of Mrs M. Kane and the late Mr N. Kane, Walterhall, Mt Morgan. The Rev. Stewart Lang officiated. The bride wore a street-length white romaine model frock beautifully beaded and embroidered and a white Jaylene model hat and accessories. Later the bridal couple left for Brisbane where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in a frock of maize coloured linen embroidered in shades of brown. A brown straw hat trimmed with flowers and veiling and brown accessories completed her ensemble. ^[2]

George Kane had two marriages: 1. Daphne Beatrice Offord – sister of Jimmy’s wife – 1941 had a daughter Jennifer 2. Maggie ???? they also had a daughter Beryl – who lives at 18 Lanigan St. Husband Robert Donaldson and son Miles. ^[4]
