Biography

Sarah Crawford was born about 1801 in South Carolina, United States. She married Elisha Monroe Welborn about 1818 in Pendleton, Pendleton District, South Carolina, United States. (based on age of first child). Sarah died after 1880 more than likely in Rabun, Georgia, United States.

The 1850 Census For Rabun County, Georgia, United States, shows Sarah Crawford living in the home of her husband Elisha Monroe Welborn along with their children Martin Welborn, John Welborn and Cynthia Welborn . [1] Their son Aaron Welborn can be found living in the home next door with his wife, Martha Towery.

In 1850, it was called The 587th District instead of Tallulah Township: Household #186, Visitation #186
