Biography

When James (Jimmie) Quincy "Buddy" Crawford was born on February 3, 1902, in South Carolina, his father, James, was 21 and his mother, Mary, was 20. He married Wadie Dower on April 9, 1927, in Greenwood, South Carolina.[1] Their children were:

He had a possible undiagnosed infectious polyneuritis (guillain-barré syndrome, perhaps?) that ailed him for two weeks before he died at the Greenville General Hospital on October 14, 1965, in Ware Shoals, South Carolina,[4] at the age of 63, and was buried in Greenwood, South Carolina.[5]
