Biography

When Horace Haskell Crawford was born on February 15, 1920, in Laurens, South Carolina, his father, Benjamin, was 30 and his mother, Bettie, was 23. He was their first of five children but was born with terminal valvular heart disease. He died on February 18, 1920, just three days old,[1] and was buried in Gray Court, South Carolina.[2]
