Biography

When James 'Jim' Wesley Crawford was born on November 19, 1889,[1] in South Carolina, his father, John, was 26 and his mother, Henrietta, was 32. He married Fannie E Gambrell on December 20, 1924, in Honea Path, South Carolina.[2] They had four children:

  • Jessie Elizabeth (1926–2016)
  • John Wesley, Jr. (1927–1937)[3]
  • Gladys Virginia (1929–1999)[4]
  • Rachel Mae (1931–2005)

He died on June 18, 1963,[5] in Ware Shoals, SC[6] at the age of 73, and was buried in Ware Shoals, South Carolina.[7]
