He was living in the household of John and Ann (Scott) Hutton in Washington, Virginia in 1860.[2] Ann Jane (Scott) Hutton was Obediah's first cousin 1X removed on his father's side.
He married Sarah Eveline Lowrey on 26 Nov 1867 in Washington county, Virginia.[3] They had children.
They were in Abingdon, Washington, Virginia in 1870, 1880 and 1900.[4][5][6]
He passed away in 1909.
