Biography
John was a Justice of the Peace for 27 years for Washington Township, Hocking County, Ohio. He was also the Mayor of Logan, Ohio. He was married two times. The first to Susan Hanes, where there were the birth of 6 children, one of which died prior to his death. The second to Lucy A. Dollison Davis, where 3 children were born to this union. All were living other than the one child at his death. He was buried in the Ilesboro Cemetery.[1]
