Anna (Crawford) Cherry was born on 9 Mar 1788 in Overton, Tennessee, United States.

Anna married William N. Cherry (1775 - 1836) Their daughter was Delilah M (Cherry) Lair (1825 - 1845).

Anna died on 17 Oct 1845 in Macoupin, Illinois aged 57.


Anna (Crawford) Cherry was the daughter of Edward Crawford (1762-1826) and Mary (Gentry) Crawford (1762-1798) who were from Pennsylvania.

Anna had the following known siblings:

John Barton Crawford 1789 - 1860 James Barney Crawford 1790 - 1859 Rebecca Crawford 1792 - 1869 Elizabeth Crawford 1794 - Mary Crawford 1796 - Basil Crawford 1798 - 1876

In about 1800, Anna married William Cherry (1775-1836) and they lived in Overton County, Tennessee until they moved to Macoupin County, Illinois later in life. They had the following known children, all born in Tennessee:

William died in 1836 and Anna in 1845; both are buried at Cherry Cemetery in Macoupin County, Illinois.
