Biography
Issac James Walter Crawford was born in December 1907 in Portrush, County Antrim, his father, Edmund, was 33 and his mother, Alice, was 35. He married Sara (Sarita) Amelia Helen MINCHIN on 16 December 1936 in Kenya. He died in 1995 in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, at the age of 88.

The one point in Crawford-6676 which is correct but not included in Crawford-17170 is the date of the wedding - 16 December 1936, which, as I say, was in Kitale, Kenya.
Originally you had down that Sarita was married to a John Crawford, which I corrected because it was inaccurate. John Crawford is their youngest son.
Walter's father was a clergyman, and at the time of Walter's birth (1907) was based in Portrush, Co Antrim, some 60 miles from where I now live.
