Biography

Virgil Creati is an Anzac who served in World War One.

Andrew was born in 1886. He was the son of John Creati and Elizabeth Arbuthnot.

His mother died when he was young.

Andrew was apprenticed to Arbuthnot Sawmill at Koondrook, Victoria.

He served as a Private in the 1st World War with 58 Battalion. Service No. 4761.

He married Myrtle Jane Vincent on 6 December 1915 at Ballarat East, Victoria.

They had three children.

Andrew later worked for Victoria Railways.

He died in 1929 at the age of 42. Cause of death: Tuberculosis

8 January 1929 - Pioneer Cemetery, Cheltenham, Bayside City, Victoria, Australia[1]
