Biography
Was born in April 1882 in the village of Clogh, County Kilkenny. She was a stenographer at the time of the 1911 census where she lived at 19 Talbot's Inch in Kilkenny (Rural) with her younger sister Mary Jane. [2-1] She was fluent in both the Irish language (Gaelic) and English. [4]
Married Walker Mason in St. John's Church Parish in Kilkenny on November 26 1919.
Conflicting birth year on each census and civil registry.
'Aunt Lizzie was a very bad diabetic and was really an invalid until her death in 1944'. [1]
Daughter Betty Abbott (name from family letters - If you are related to her please get in touch - She is my Grandma's cousin!).
