Biography
Liaison with Mary Ann Johnson his father's tenant who was wife of John O'Keefe resulted in son William.
Y-DNA testing has confirmed paternity of Creed for William O'Keefe. It is possible that William's father did not know of his existence.
Stephen Creed was the landlord of John and Mary O'Keefe. Autosomal DNA matches suggest that William O'Keefe was also a son of Stephen's wife, therefore it seems that one of Stephen's sons is the father of William.
Due to a slightly stronger DNA match with a descendant of John Creed, he has been added here as the likely father. However, his brother Richard is also a candidate.
The certainty is however that Stephen Creed is grandfather to William.
