Arvey Junior Creek of Renton died March 3, 2004, in Renton. He was 79.
Born Nov. 30, 1924, in Billings, Mont., he served in the Marine Corps and lived in Renton for 60 years.
Mr. Creek retired in 1985 from quality control at The Boeing Co., after 41 years of service. He was a member of the Renton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Renton Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling in an RV and Boy Scout activities.
He is survived by his son, Douglas Creek of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; daughter, Diane Chambers of Woodinville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.
Memorials may be made to the Renton Historical Society.
