Mary Batchelor Creekmore (recognized as being of Cherokee Nation descent by the US Gov)[1]
Mary Creekmore was born between 1788 and 1791 in Nash, North Carolina, the daughter of Robert Creekmore and Elizabeth Batchelor. Mary Creekmore and Ezekiel A. Porch were married in 1808 in Nash, North Carolina. They lived in Somerset, Kentucky in 1850 and 1860. They had a son, Edwin Denton Porch. Ezekiel died in September 1862 in Somerset, Pulaski, Kentucky. Mary died on 20 March 1878 in Somerset, Kentucky.[2]

In 1860, the Porch family lived in Somerset, Pulaski, Kentucky. All members of the household were born in North Carolina. The household included Ezekiel A. Porch, 71, a farmer with $1500 in real estate and $250 in personal estate; (his wife) Mary B. Porch, 69; and (his mother) Rebecca Porch, 105. In the line where Rebecca appears, it is written, “over 100 years old.”[17]
