Elizabeth Creel was born in Virginia in March of 1829. Her parents were George Creel and Mary Ball (Need Citation / Evidence).
She married John B. L. Hendrix on 24 May 1855 in Mclean County Illinois. They relocated and settled by 1860 in Monroe County, Iowa. She had three children: Anna Elizabeth Hendrix (1857-1909) who would marry William Hiram Trussell; Ira Milton Hendrix (1860-1863); and Mary Jane Hendrix (1865-1939) who married James Albert Mounts.
Elizabeth's husband was a farmer, he passed away in 1895. Elizabeth was living alone as a widow in 1900 in Appanoose County, Iowa; In 1910 she was living with her daughter and son-in-law in Appanoose County, Iowa. She passed away in 1913.
