Adam Mott and Elizabeth Cree(?) Creel/Creed were married 28 Oct 1616 in Saffron Walden, Essex, England. The final letter of her surname is lost in an ink blot on the original record. The article in The American Genealogist reported her surname spelled "Creel", and Boyd's marriage index reported it as "Creed". Essex probate records were looked at and revealed many persons by the name of "Creed" and "Creek", but none spelled "Creel"
Elizabeth died between the birth of her last known child about 1629 and the remarriage of her husband May 1635, in Horseheath, Cambridgeshire.
