Margaret and John married 12 January 1824 in Dull and Kenmore, Perthshire. In 1851 the census lists John Livingston (58), John Livingston (27), Margret Livingston (54), “Margret Dows” (85), and Duncan McLaren (14)(all b. Scotland) in a 1-story log house in North Easthope. In 1861 John Livingston and “Margt Ourar” were living with their son John and his family. John died in Toronto in Feb 1870. In 1871 Margaret was still living with her son John.
