William probably married Mary Elizabeth James (1902–1980)(now connected)[3]Research on marriage likely spouse as a Mary Elizabeth Crerar remarried in 1929 [4].
Her death in 1980 [5] shows her father's name as Charles James.
Research shows: that William [Jnr] followed in his fathers’ footsteps. Like William [Snr] he is also registered as a ‘Plumber’ in the Victorian Electoral roles: In 1919 [at about 22 years old] he is living with both his parents at 32 Ovens street Yarraville. Likewise again [still at 32 Ovens St] in 1924 [this after his father’s death] In 1924 his wife, Mary Elizabeth Crerar, is also listed at this address in the supplementary roll for that year. She would have only enrolled to vote after turning 21 in 1923.
