When Emily Crider was born on February 18, 1818, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, her father, Frederick, was 54, and her mother, Susanah, was 50. [1] She married Hardy Cain on December 27, 1834, in Franklin, Mississippi. [2]They had eight children in 22 years. She died on April 23, 1888, in Franklin, Mississippi, at the age of 70, and was buried there. Buried Cain Cemetery in Franklin County, Mississippi, USA. [3]
