On the 1860 Census, 87 year old Doshey (misspelled Dosha) lived in Farmington, Marion County, Virginia in her son-in-law Henry Fielding Hamilton's household. Henry was her daughter Mary's husband. The household included Henry and Mary's children:
James, age 20
Elias, age 17
Calvin, age 15
Melissa, age 12
Emory, age 10
The household also included Doshey's grandchildren, 10-year-old James Wood and 7-year-old Nancy Wood. James and Nancy were Lewis Wesley Wood's children, who was Doshey's deceased son.[2]

Her will, which was written in Sept. 1862, also metnions her grandchildren, children of Lewis Wesley Wood, as heirs.
