Biography
William Crisp was born about 1730 probably at Brinklow, Warwickshire, England.
He might be the William Crisp who married Elisabeth Ward on 5 Oct 1749 at Brinklow, Warwickshire[1]. They had a few children at Brinklow, most of which did not survive, before Elisabeth died (probably in 1758).
William married Mary Iliffe on 24 Nov 1763 at Hillmorton, Warwickshire. [2] He is listed as Widowed in the marriage register.
William and Mary had a daughter Elizabeth who was christened on 22 Nov 1764 at Hillmorton[3]. They may have had another child, Sarah Crisp who was baptised on 13 Mar 1768 at Brinklow[4].
William probably died in 1802 and was buried on 1 Mar 1802 at Hillmorton, Warwickshire. [5]
