Alan Percy Crisp was born on 23rd December 1889 in Hobart, Tasmania (Australia). He was the son of Samuel Crisp and Myra Stanfield.
Alan served as the first commanding officer of the 2/8th Australian Field Regiment, Australian Artillery during the Second World War. He was appointed Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) and awarded the Volunteer Officer's Decoration (VD). [1]
Aged about 81 years, he passed away in 1971 in Hobart. [2]
