Biography

James H Crisp was enumerated as head of the household at Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina for the January 29, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1873 in North Carolina. He was married, an owner and farming (general) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Martha M Crisp, daughter Olive Crisp, daughter Grace Crisp, son James R Crisp, son Garland Crisp, daughter Wanetter Crisp, son Ben Crisp and daughter Hasel L Crisp.[1]

James H. Crisp is buried at Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina, USA.[2]
