This family named one of their boys William for 5 generations! I have no idea what nick names they used to keep everyone straight, but I was having very hard time so I made up the I, II -V suffixes to keep my sanity. [Wink] I haven't entered William V into WikiTree.
William was born about 1573. William Crispin ... He passed away about 1636.[1]
There is a baptism of "William Grisbie" on 18 July 1573 at Holy Trinity, Hull.[2] This is the same date given here and in the family biography "The Crispins of Kingston-on-Hull".[3]
He married Alice Colson on 16 March 1595/1596 at Holy Trinity, Hull.[4] Find my Past has transcribed this as 26 March but it looks like 16 March on the original scan.
