Biography
Claude Crittenden was born in 1890.[1] He was the son of William Crittenden and Sophia Lawrence.
In World War I he served as a Trooper with the 12th Light Horse Regiment.[2]
Claude was killed in action in in the first Battle of Gaza in 1917, and buried in the Deir El Belah War Cemetery.[3]
His brother Gus named a son Claude in his memory.
