Biography

Elijah Crittenden was enumerated as self at Gunnels, Franklin County, Georgia for the June 2, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as a farmer, born 1850 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary N Crittenden, daughter Jannie E Crittenden and son Robert A Crittenden.^[1]

Eliza Crittenden was listed as the husband of Mary N. Crittenden who died February 22, 1922 in Franklin County, Georgia. The father was listed as Alexandre Langston and the mother Elizabeth Shamon.^[2]

Elija Crittenden is buried at Bold Springs Methodist Church in Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia.^[3]
