Biography

Rebecca Crocker was a daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Parker) Crocker.[1][2]

She married, at Barnstable, Ebenezer Jones 20 March 1739/40[3] and they had the following known children:[2]

  1. John (ca 1641), married Sarah Crocker in 1761[4], then, perhaps, Mehitable Stuart in 1775[5]
  2. Barnabas (ca 1746), Revolutionary War veteran[6]
  3. Crocker (ca 1748), Revolutionary War veteran[7]
  4. Remember (ca 1750), married, perhaps, Joseph Backus/Backhouse about 1772[8]
  5. Josiah (ca 1753), Revolutionary War veteran[9]
  6. Silvanus (ca 1755), married Rachel Taylor in 1778, then Ruby Taber in 1796[8]
  7. Tabitha (ca 1760), married Joseph Fuller in 1783[10]
  8. Hannah (ca 1762), married, probably, Israel Obear in 1787[11]

Note that the birth years are all estimated, and the attached records are assumed to apply to Ebenezer and Rebecca's children, but full documentation is lacking.

Rebecca died sometime after 1762, assuming the birth year estimate for her youngest child is reasonable.
