Biography

She was born in 1836. I can't find a birth record but her death record lists her parents as William Croft and Ann Williamson. She is younger than her brother Thomas. She married John Bolton before 1856.


They had children all born in Guelph;

Caroline born in 1856-- married Edwin Dunnet Watson and went to Michigan as a widow in 1917.

Charles born in 1858-- married Abigail Solan in 1889 and died in 1912

Alfred born in 1860-- married Jennie Marin in 1909 and died in 1913

Howard born in 1862

Phoebe born in 1864-- married to John Watson in 1882 and died in 1912

Francis (Frank) born in 1865-- married Emma Rasberry in 1896

Minnie born in 1868-- married Thomas Alexander Sloan in 1892 and died in 1958

Worthy born in 1870 and died in 1873

Wilbert born in 1873 and died in 1947 in Oklahoma Ephian (Effie) born in 1876-- married John Bathgate in 1900 and died in 1956 in Chilliwack, B.C.

Ida May born 1880-- married John Howard Hagen in 1906

Hannah Jane Croft Bolton died in 1912 at the age of 76 from apoplexy in Guelph.
