William Henry Croft was born on 19th February 1906 in Highercombe, South Australia, Australia. He was the son of William Henry Croft and mother unknown. [1]
William married Myrtle Cope in 1930 at Broken Hill, New South Wales. [2]
On 12th February 1941 at Broken Hill, William enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force for service during the Second World War. His final posting was as a Flight Sergeant at No. 4 Personnel Depot and he was discharged on 7th February 1946. [3]
