Biography

Jane (Croft) Holden was born in Lincolnshire, England.

Jane was born in 1870.^[1]

In 1871 she lived in Cleethorpes.^[2] In 1881 she was resident in the Port of Hull Society Sailors Orphan Home.^[3] In 1891 she was a servant in Cleethorpes.^[4] In 1901 she was a servant in Cleethorpes.^[5]

She married Charles Holden in 1902.^[6] In 1911 they lived in Ckeethorpes.^[7] They had been married eight years and had four children, three of whom were still living. By 1939 she was widowed anda living in Cleethorpes.^[8]

She died in 1945^[9] and was buried in Cleethorpes Cemetery.^[10] Administration for her estate was granted on 3 April 1945.^[11]
